Our Mission
Durae is a Catholic community dedicated to creating spiritual experiences and encouraging prayer life for youth. We currently serve the Korean Catholic parishes in the New York area.
Our goal is to share our faith and love for Christ with the future generations of our Church, and encourage our youth to live a life in the spirit. The Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Mother, is our guide and model, as Durae's programs and events follow her youthful and courageous spirit to say YES to God's calling.
We currently host monthly prayer meetings and an annual Youth Encountering Spirit (YES) retreat, inspired by the charismatic movement’s Life in the Spirit seminar.

MONTHLY PRAYER MEETING
Our prayer meetings take place every third Saturday of the month at 5 pm. There is praise music, time for prayer, opportunities to share personal stories and ask questions about our faith, as well as games and fellowship.

YOUTH ENCOUNTERING SPIRIT (YES)
YES is our annual retreat for youth. The retreat focuses on creating an encounter with the Holy Spirit by utilizing our gifts, and embark on a new journey of living a life in the spirit.
