YOUTH ENCOUNTERING SPIRIT
Our annual retreat for youth, designed to create an encounter with the Holy Spirit and embark on a journey to build a relationship with God.
WILL YOU SAY YES?
YES is a 4 day-long retreat, inspired by the charismatic movement’s Life in the Spirit Seminar, and follows Our Mother, Mary’s own ‘YES’ to the Holy Spirit’s calling during her youth. Throughout the retreat, you’ll hear the stories of those who have witnessed the power of the Holy Spirit in their lives, learn about the gifts we all have received from the Spirit, receive healing in the places we’e been wounded, and begin living a life in the Spirit. Students have the opportunity to build new friendships and gain a new community where they can share their faith. YES retreat, we pray, is the start of a lifelong journey with Christ.

After a three year hiatus due to the pandemic, YES retreat returns this year.
We invite 10th - 12th grade high school and college students, who have received Confirmation, for an inter-church, four-day retreat to learn about the Holy Spirit and living a life of prayer and community. Churches participating include, Queens, Bayside, Great Neck, Brooklyn, Woodside, and Long Island.
