Durae is a Catholic service group for youth with the mission to create spiritual experiences and encourage prayer life for high school students that attend the Korean Catholic parishes in the New York area. 

• We're currently serving six Korean-American parishes in the New York area - St. Paul Chong Ha Sang Church in Flushing, St. Roberts in Bayside, St. Raphael in Woodside, St. Aloysius in Great Neck, Holy Name of Jesus in Long Island and Brooklyn.

• We host monthly prayer meetings, spiritual gatherings and an annual Life in the Spirit Seminar - Youth Encountering Spirit (YES) retreat.

• Made up of young adults from the Korean American parishes in the NY area that we serve, Durae staff are volunteers from all walks of life, from college students to married couples who have encountered the Spirit are seeking to share the Good News and their faith with the youth.

• Our goal is to serve our community and grow the future generations of our Church, and encourage our youth to live a life in the spirit. The Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Mother, is our guide and model, as Durae's programs and events follow her youthful and courageous spirit to say YES to God's calling.
